Ten modules, one set of books

What normally needs three separate systems — accounting, inventory, and tax — sits in one place. Not because they were wired together, but because they were never split apart.

Sales

From the price you quoted to the cash arriving. The tax treatment is attached from the first line.

  • The customer’s VAT status already decides the VAT treatment. Whoever enters the invoice is never asked a tax question.
  • Delivery date and invoice date are recorded separately, because VAT follows the delivery date.
  • Print-ready invoices, and the journal entry locks the moment it is issued.
Inside this module
Quotations

A price offered before any commitment. Once accepted, nothing is retyped.

Sales orders

Customer commitments not yet invoiced, with the undelivered balance tracked.

Delivery notes

When the goods actually changed hands. That is what decides when VAT falls due.

Sales invoices

The journal entry, output VAT, and the e-invoice line all form from one document.

Customer master

VAT registration, tax ID, payment terms, and withholding exemptions held on the master record.

Purchasing

Vendor bills that already know whether they are subject to withholding, and whether their input VAT is creditable.

  • The system works out what is subject to withholding from the transaction type, not from what a clerk remembered.
  • A non-registered vendor produces no input VAT, and automatically appears as an explanation when the figures are matched.
  • Withholding exemptions are checked against their validity period, not merely ticked.
Inside this module
Purchase orders

Commitments to vendors not yet billed.

Purchase bills

Input VAT, withholding, and the journal entry in one step.

Vendor master

VAT registration, tax ID, and withholding exemptions per vendor.

Inventory & manufacturing

The value sitting in the warehouse and in work in progress, costed by a consistent method.

  • Cost of sales forms from movements, not from a month-end adjustment.
  • Stock counts produce a variance entry with a recorded reason.
  • Inventory is included in the flow tests — the same method an auditor uses.
Inside this module
Stock & movements

Position by warehouse and the full movement history, line by line.

Items & services

A catalogue carrying each item’s tax classification and default accounts.

Manufacturing

Bills of materials, work orders, and cost held in work in progress.

Cost of production

Materials, labour, and overhead that became finished goods in the period.

Cash & bank

Money that actually moved, matched against the documents that should accompany it.

  • One payment can be allocated across many invoices, with the remainder tracked.
  • FX differences are revalued at closing rates drawn from an approved rate table — not from a freely typed number.
  • Ageing uses the due date derived from master payment terms, not the invoice date.
Inside this module
Payments

Receipts, disbursements, and inter-account transfers.

Liability settlements

Payroll liabilities, tax remittances, and commissions — obligations with no invoice to point at.

Bank reconciliation

Statement lines matched to recorded payments.

Receivables & payables ageing

Who is overdue, by how long, and for how much.

Cash counts

Count the cash, compare to the books, print the record.

Dual-book fixed assets

One asset, two depreciation calculations. The gap becomes an automatic fiscal adjustment, not manual work.

  • Straight-line for the accounts, declining-balance for tax. From the same asset, recorded once.
  • Whether a building counts as permanent is flagged as a human decision, never guessed by the system.
  • The dual-book depreciation schedule becomes working paper KK-06 without being rebuilt.
Inside this module
Asset register

Acquisition, tax class, and both commercial and fiscal useful lives.

Monthly depreciation

Review and post depreciation for the current period.

Asset-to-ledger reconciliation

Compare the register with ledger balances, then trace the difference.

Disposals & revaluation

Disposal gains and losses that differ between the commercial and fiscal books.

Payroll & employee tax

Figures you can defend per employee, per component, per period.

  • Employee tax is computed from the effective-dated rule catalogue, so a rate change needs no application release.
  • Payroll has its own permissions and its own approval flow — salary figures are not visible to everyone who can read journals.
  • Salary costs in the books are automatically matched against the gross on the monthly payroll-tax return.
Inside this module
Payroll run

Salaries, allowances, deductions, social security, and employee income tax.

Payslips

Printable, with every figure traceable to its component.

Sales commission

What sales staff have earned on invoices that have actually been paid.

General ledger

The core. Journals can only be added to, never edited or deleted — including by us.

  • A posted entry is never modified. Corrections go through a reversing entry linked to the original.
  • Debit-credit balance is enforced by the database, not the app. Wrong code is rejected, not forgiven.
  • No computer floating-point number ever touches a monetary value, anywhere.
Inside this module
Journals

Every entry with its hash and chain status.

Chart of accounts

Account structure, statement classification, and each account’s fiscal treatment.

Departments & projects

Analysis dimensions: department, project, and branch.

Opening balances

Enter and verify opening balances until the balance sheet balances.

Currencies & rates

The rates permitted for booking foreign-currency transactions.

Period close

Commercial and fiscal period status, locked independently.

Financial reporting

Complete statements, both books side by side, and every figure clickable down to its journal entry.

  • Every reported figure keeps a path back to the entries that made it.
  • The flow tests run an auditor’s own method — before the auditor runs it.
  • Statements print in a form fit to attach to a filing, not a screenshot.
Inside this module
Balance sheet

Including a per-branch balance sheet and the value crossing between branches.

Income statement

With cost of production where there is manufacturing activity.

Cash flow

Sources and uses of cash over a period.

Worksheet

Trial balance, adjustments, P&L, and balance sheet in one table.

Notes to the statements

The composition of each line, plus the narrative its preparer writes.

Commercial vs fiscal

A profit comparison and the cause of each difference, line by line.

Analysis & budget

Ratios, period-over-period comparison, and actuals against plan.

Flow tests

Recompute cash, receivables, payables, and inventory from source documents.

Tax centre

This is the part that puts the system in a different class, not just a different feature list.

  • The figures are matched at every month end, not every April.
  • Each fiscal adjustment points to its statute, pulled from the rule list, not retyped.
  • Every judgement gets an honest label: certain, conditional, or grey.
Inside this module
Tax centre

This month’s risk score and the results of all four checks.

Fiscal working papers

Seven working papers that collect themselves through the year.

VAT period close

What is payable this period, then book the remittance.

Withholding slips

Tax withheld from third parties, plus the official import file.

Corporate annual return

Fiscal profit → tax due, loss carry-forward, tax credits, next year’s instalments.

Control, access & data

Who may do what, who changed what, and how data comes in and goes out.

  • Permissions are checked on the server. Hiding a button is not security.
  • Read-only consultant and auditor roles exist specifically for outsiders who must see without being able to change.
  • Import rejects the whole file if any row fails — half-loaded data is more dangerous than none.
Inside this module
Users & access

16 permissions mapped to 7 built-in roles, per entity.

Approvals

Proposed transactions and tax decisions are reviewed before they touch the official record.

Audit trail

Who changed what, when, and the value before and after.

Import & export

Row-level validation before a single record is created.

Entity profile

Tax identity and bookkeeping settings per entity.

Menu visibility

Hide modules this entity does not use.

Who it is for

Built for companies big enough to get audited

If your books still fit in a notebook, KLOPT is too much. If one mismatched figure can end in a letter from the tax office, this was built for you.

Mid-market VAT-registered firms

Billions in turnover, dozens to hundreds of invoices a month, and an accounting team outnumbered by the work.

Manufacturing & distribution

Layered stock, production costing, and large assets whose depreciation differs between the accounts and tax.

Multi-entity groups

Several companies under one owner, each viewable separately without the data ever mixing.

What we deliberately do not build

No point of sale, no HR, no CRM. Not because we could not, but because every feature unrelated to your tax figures being right takes attention from one that is. We would rather be the only system that can answer an auditor than the tenth that can print a receipt.

Migration

Two to three weeks, not half a year

Do not switch mid-period. The cleanest point is the start of a month. If that date is only days away, wait for the next one.

Next step

Start with the module you need most

Tell us your industry and your transaction types. We build the demo around them, not a left-to-right feature tour.

No credit card. No commitment. We prepare the sample data.
